Book 12 2025 A Midwinter's Tail by Lili Hayward

'People have always told tales on the night of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in the morning, to entertain those whose heads are full of honey and amuse those whose bellies are full of warmth. But what people are really doing, when they tell those tales, is weaving the old magic.'

For our twelfth book of the year I recommend A Midwinter's Tail by Lili Hayward. Hopefully this will help put you in the mood for next month's upcoming festivities. The book begins with an early Christmas party and there is a festive atmosphere throughout the pages. It is a story about family, friendship and community; and, V, it is short! Here is the worksheet.

Meetup: Friday, 26th December 5pm
